    shortage of good nurses ( benefits are non existent)
    rising heath care costs
    insurances imposing the DRGS related to too early of patient discharge

    Major issue is the cost.

    Cost ,, many people are having to do without food to buy medicine.

    There is a gap where certain people do not qualify for aid of any kind, might not be considered disabled but still not able to work anymore. These people suffer and this is the wealthiest nation in the world.

    Not enough is being done to confront the issue of Aged Care. The population is getting older (as are the facilities) but not much is being done to raise the level of care and support for the elderly. One day We are all going to retire and live out Our days hoping that We can get by on what We have put aside. If You need to go into a Nursing Home at the age of 70 then You had better book Your room now!

    COST ! Especially for those about to retire and all of a sudden have to dish out more for health care than their mortgage ever was. My husband thinks if we get divorced and I went on welfare, we could almost make it. He has been on the same job for 37 years and makes around 90,0000 a year. If we can’t afford it.. who can? Wait until you get the quotes. You’ll die from shock and won’t have to worry about health care. We want to travel.. but I guess you have to sacrifice….Darn all those years and look where it landed us….
