I have flexible health spending account, is it legal not to allow health care insurance premiums paid from it?

Anna F asked:

Are those accounts regulated?

Well about HSAS theres some interesting plans available for you depind on your local area. HSAS sometimes even allow you acces to a debit card to pay for health spending. When I got my health plan I chose an indemnity throught United Healthcare because it cost about 25% more only and offered better protection then a HSA. I got mine at ehealthinsurance.com and they had offered some HSA plans for my zipcode too.
The only way I can see a HSA insurance plan be $$ efficient is if you would have no other good options in your area or if you are in a high tax bracket and the tax savings make it worth it.
