How can McCain give everyone $5,000 for health care insurance if he puts a freeze on all government spending?

You just answered your own question. He is going to stop Obama from spending, so he can insert the tax credit into health care and stop the welfare person from buying iPods.

He’s not giving anyone $5,000. It’s a tax credit, you have to spend it to write it off. But if you don’t have it, then what do you do?

it’s not a savings, because his plan will cost about $12,000 a year more, and with that $5,000 credit, if you do the math, you are still losing $7,000 a year!!

A tax credit is different from giving a check. I get a tax credit for the interest I pay on my mortgage see the difference? Obama wants to give checks to people by taking it from people who make over 250k and all corporations that is called communism.
how can Obama cut the taxes for 95% of the people and still pay for his programs like Universal Health Care and Poverty relief for the world? He can;t but keep bashing McCain.

The $5000 is a credit against taxes or a tax credit not a grant. So it is not spending money, it is reducing taxes. By not spending like the Democrats, it makes up for the reduced taxes received.

He’s not giving you $5000.00 He allowing you a tax credit of 5000.00
It’s a better plan than any in the works. Unless you want to stand in line in Canada and U.K. and have sub par doctors.
