How can I find a Healthcare provider and an appointment by tomorrow?

I think I have strep throat and am taking the day off tomorrow. I need help in finding a provider..and what do i say once I call? Because I will need same day help, thanks

    If you have insurance, check out the company’s website for a list of doctors within your area. Look for those that have open enrollment. Once you find one, call them up and ask to make an appointment. They’ll ask what for, and then you can give them your symptoms. Make sure you let them know that you are a new patient. Nine out of ten times, you’ll get a same day appointment. If not, then go to the emergency room. Of course you’ll have a long wait, but at least you’ll be seen by someone. If you do go to the emergency room, you will still need a follow up appointment with a doctor. Hospital follow-ups usually do get same day appointments.

    If you have health insurance, try your insurance provider website. If not, you may need to visit an Urgent Care Center or a local Minute Clinic.

    Visit an ER only if necessary.
