Healthcare issues in America. WHAT TO DO?>?

Econkid asked:

What do you think would be the best choice for us as a country. i.e. switch to a national healthcare system, privatized insurance, etc..
And do you think it is right to ration healthcare or deny healthcare insurance to people with pre-existing healthcare??

I gave my idea ten years ago to our government and received no reply. Here it is.
Build government run hospitals or use part of current hospitals and give a tax relief incentive for the usage. Hire young graduates right out of college and offer the same incentives they do the military volunteers. Sign a four year work deal, get paid just like the soldiers do and after the four year tour, monies to pay off student loans.

In the richest country in world no one should be denied healthcare or go bankrupt from it. If the other countries can do it so can we

Of course you are not getting many responses to your question, no surprise there. And the responses you are getting are the same old crap being spewed on the right as we speak, no universal health care is not a solution.
People can go on blaming the govt. for their problems all day, at the end of the day, you still need a govt. A country without a govt is chaos. If you don’t like having a govt. move to a remote place on earth where a govt does not exist.

You have to have some kind of universal healthcare, the current healthcare system can un do all of a person’s lifetime gains within one illness, that’s not capitalism that’s not a working system.

    Actually, I like citizenv’s idea.
