Health care insurance?
petefeng asked:
I know most big company offer health care coverage through the payroll deduction and you will be covered as long as you are with the company. I wonder what would happen if you retire. Does the company still cover your health insurance? Or you have to find the health care provider by yourself? If it is the second one, will it become more difficult to get a better rate, since you already have certain age?
And what will be the best solution for this situation? Purchase health coverage on your own without participating the company plan, while you still young.

it depends on your pension plan. some plans will cover the retired employee through a certain age.
if a person is not covered by their employer, i believe they can go on medicare at retirement age.
